Trail’s End offers an online fundraising option that allows supporters to fund local Scouting while also supporting verified tree‑planting efforts. Through this program, supporters can purchase tree‑planting packages, with a majority of proceeds benefiting local Scouts and their council.
Trees funded through this program are native species planted in Indiana through verified partners as part of a reforestation effort. Supporters may designate a specific Scout or unit to receive credit for the purchase.
This fundraiser is managed by Trail’s End and complements other locally run Scouting fundraisers.
Trail’s End sells tree‑planting “packs” at fixed price points, for example:
Each pack lists:
Trees are native species
Planted in Indiana, including along the Wabash River
Species include oak, hickory, cypress, and elderberry
Planting is verified through local partners
Over 60% of online purchases stay with local Scouts, their units, and the Council
Some specific tree‑planting product pages state 75% of funds raised go directly to local Scouting
