Cub Scouts is a program within the Scouting America framework designed for children in grades K–5, focusing on building character, learning citizenship, and developing personal fitness through fun, age-appropriate activities. This youth scouting initiative emphasizes hands-on learning, teamwork, and outdoor adventure, often involving families in the journey. As Scouts earn badges by completing challenges in areas like nature, service, and skills, they also engage with other programs such as Scouts BSA, Sea Scouts, and Venturing. The program fosters confidence, kindness, and a sense of belonging within a supportive community.
